Ghana Senior High School (Ghanasco) be some co-educational second cycle institution located for Tamale insyd, Northern Region of Ghana.

Ghanasco was originally called Ghana College. De school was established for 1960 insyd by de Government of Ghana, under Kwame Nkrumah, as one of de Ghana Education Trust Schools. It has a student population of about 2,800. E be de second largest school for northern region after Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco). De first headmaster of de school was Kenneth Luther Purser, a Jamaican. Master Abu Kassim Tahidu from Kwame Danso in de Brong Ahafo region of Ghana be de first senior prefect.

De administration block, de old dining hall, de new larger dining hall/ jams hall, de arts/ PTA block, de science block, de science laboratories including home economics laboratory, de mosque, Nkrumah house, Gbewaa house, Cabral/Gbanzaba house, Dakpema and purser house be de boys dormitories. de girls dormitories include; indice 1, indice 2 house, annex 1, annex 2 house and Lordina house, de headmaster's bungalow and de teachers' bungalows. De Ghanasco dam is used by surrounding communities including Kukuo plus students of Ghana Senior High School.

Achievements Wey de school make[edit | edit source]
For 2019, de school beat Armed Forces Senior High School and New Juaben Senior High School for Ghana National Science and Maths Quiz, which qualified dem to de quarter-finals for 2019.
For June 1970, a historic feat was chalked by de school when Mr. Lalaji, a mathematics teacher and ein science students invented a rocket. On 22 June 1970, de rocket was launched for de school plus de Minister of Education Mr. William Offori-Attah in attendance.
