Huaconada (Spanish pronunciation: [wakoˈnaða]) be sam ritual dance wey dem dey perform for de village of Mito for de province of Concepción wey dey central Peruvian Andes. UNESCO inscribe am for de Representative List of de Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for 2010 insyd.[1]

For de first three days of every January, masked men wey be known as "huacones" dey perform sam choreographed series of dances for de center of de village. Two types of "huacones" dey: menners wey dey wear traditional costumes den finely-carved masks "inspiring respect den fear," den menners wey dey wear modern costumes, "embodying terror, sadness, anaa mockery." Sam small indigenous drum wey dem dey bell "tinya" dey beat out tym plus de dance wey dem dey perform.
