Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology anaa MMUST, formerly Western University College of Science and Technology, be non-profit public university insyd Kenya.[1] Dem name de varsity after Masinde Muliro, Kenyan politician wey help found de institution. MMUST cam turn fully accredited public varsity insyd 2007. Before dem elevate go full varsity status, na ebe constituent college of Moi University. Na dem establish de school insyd January 1972, dem know am as Western College anaa WECO, college of Arts den Applied Sciences wey dey award certificates den diplomas insyd technical courses.

For 2002 insyd e cam turn constituent college of Moi University wey dem change ein name go Western University College of Science and Technology. Dem open de varsity to de community make dem use ein resources e.g. de library den oda facilities.

Ein Vice Chancellor, currently just end ein 5-year term, Prof. Fredrick Otieno. Prof. Joseph Bosire dey for acting capacity top. De current Vice Chancellor be Prof. Solomon Shibairo.[2]
