Mbarara University of Science & Technology (MUST), commonly dem know am as Mbarara University, be public university insyd Uganda. Mbarara University commence student intake den instruction insyd 1989.[1] Ebe one of de ten public universities den degree-awarding institutions insyd de country. MUST be accredited by de Uganda National Council for Higher Education.[2]

  • De Mbarara Campus dey insyd de town of Mbarara, for de Mbarara-Kabale Highway top, approximately 269 kilometres (167 mi) southwest of Kampala, Uganda ein capital den largest city.[3] De coordinates of de university campus be 0.616944°S 30.506667°E.[4]
  • De Kihumuro Campus dey insyd de suburb of Kihumuro, approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) by road, west of Mbarara ein central business district along de Mbarara-Bushenyi Road. University Council[edit | edit source]

De University Council be de supreme organ of de university responsible for de overall administration wey dey ensure dat de establishment objectives den functions of de university be duly implement. De council members be drawn from stakeholders wey dey include university staff, students, den members from de Ministry of Education, oda government departments, University Convocation, de Private Sector den de general public.

University Senate[edit | edit source]

De University Senate be responsible give overall administration, of all academic programs. De current Senate dey institute for accordance plus de provisions of de Universities den oda Tertiary Institutions Act of 2001, as dem enact by de Parliament of Uganda.

Top management[edit | edit source]

De top management dey consist of de vice chancellor, deputy vice chancellor, university secretary, academic registrar, dean of students, den de executive director of Mbarara Hospital.

University teaching hospital[edit | edit source]

De university teaching hospital be Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, 600-bed public hospital wey sanso dey serve as de referral hospital for de districts of: Mbarara, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, Kiruhura, Ibanda, Mitooma, Sheema, Buhweju, Isingiro den Rubirizi.
