Mukuba University be public university insyd Garneton (Itimpi), Kitwe, Zambia. De Mukuba University, formerly Copperbelt Secondary Teachers College (COSETCO), na dem establish am insyd 1974 by de Ministry of Education make e train Teachers of Science for deployment for secondary schools around de country insyd. Since ein inception, COSETCO as institution train teachers of mathematics, natural sciences, den home economics.[1][2][3][4]

Academic Reorganization

Insyd 2008 de institution start dey offer bachelor's degrees wey na dem establish four schools wey na dem reorganise dem go three by 2018 for de restructuring process insyd:

1. School of Education dey offer various courses, wey dey include psychology, philosophy, sociology, special education den communication skills.

2. De School of Applied Science den Technology dey offer majors insyd nutritional sciences, as well as clothing den textile sciences.

3. De School of Mathematical den Natural Sciences dey offer degrees insyd mathematics, computer science, geography, biology, chemistry, physics den agriculture sciences. All programmes run thru full time/ regular mode, as well as via open den distance learning (ODL) mode.

De university establish dedicated Centre give ICT, de Centre for Information Communication Technology. De Unit get four sections, namely

1. Networking Section,

2. Training Section,

3. Software Development Section den

4. Support and Consultancy Section.

De University Library be de principal information provider give all students den staff.
