Santa Anzo be a Ugandan model, fashionista, fashion designer den businesswoman, wey be de founder, chief fashion designer den managing director of Arapapa Fashion House, base insyd Kampala, Uganda ein capital city.[1] She sanso be de founder den Presido of Uganda International Fashion Week, an annual fashion exhibition.[2][3]

[edit | edit source]Na dem born Santa Anzo insyd Uganda, circa 1975.[4] Ein parents trace dema ancestry to Moyo District, insyd de West Nile sub-region of Uganda.[4]
She attend Old Kampala Primary School, before she transfer go Bat Valley Primary School, wer na she obtain ein Primary School Leaving Certificate. For ein O-Level studies, she go Madhvani College, insyd Wairaka, Jinja District. She study for Progressive Secondary School, insyd Bweyogerere, Wakiso District, wer she plete her A-level studies wey she obtain ein High School Diploma.[1] She then enrol into Dolphins Fashion School, insyd Kampala, wer na she graduate plus a Diploma in Fashion Design.[4]
Career
[edit | edit source]Insyd 1995, na dem hire Ms Anzo as waitress for Kampala Casino. Na dem sanso hire am as a model for de same establishment wey she model wen she no dey waitress. Insyd 1999, she meet Sylvia Owori den togeda, dem start Ziper Models, plus Anzo dey manage de business while Owori manage de talent. Anzo serve as sales person, model trainer, den fashion model. She manage de finances, den choreograph fashion shows. Dis relationship last 16 months, before Anzo lef Ziper Models.[4]
Insyd 2001 Anzo lef Ziper Models wey she start Arapapa. Arapapa dey mean butterfly insyd ein native Madi language.[1][4] Two years later, she launch de Uganda International Fashion Week.[1][3]
Na she showcase ein designs for multiple fashion festivals wey dey include Fashion for Peace initiative, Kenya Fashion Week, Mozambique Fashion Week, Swahili Fashion Week insyd Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Africa Fashion Exchange, insyd Durban, South Africa,[5] among odas.
