The documentary was screened at various festivals by the team of Farhan Rana Rajpoot, Zulkaif Riaz and Farhan Butt. The film premiered in Pakistan on 29 October 2021. The film had a general release on 29 October, and received widespread critical acclaim. The film received three nominations at the 1st Academy Awards, Best Director, Best Actress (for Farhan Rana), and Best Adapted Screenplay.[4]
