De explosion kill four menners, wey dey include Professor Aliyu Mani den one of de attackers, wey ehurt seventeen menners.[18][19][20] Dem take de menners wey dem wound go de University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.[21] Police kill anoda attacker, shoddie of about 12 years of age, as na she dey approach de university, wey dem detonate ein explosives den kill am.[20] Na Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau be responsible give de attack.[22] De number of attackers wey dey involve dey vary between reports, but na one of de bombers be teenage shoddie.[18][20]

Three suicide bombers attack de University for June 25 den June 26, 2017, wey dem kill one security guard.[23][24] De university start dey dig sam 27 kilometer trench around de perimeter in order say dem go prevent Boko Haram attacks.[24]
