Ahafo Ano North Municipal District be one of de forty-three districts for Ashanti Region insyd, Ghana. Originally, dem create am as ordinary district assembly for 1988 insyd as Ahafo Ano North District, wey dem create from de former Ahafo Ano District Council; til say dem elevate am go municipal district assembly status wey now ecome turn Ahafo Ano North Municipal District for November 2017 insyd (effectively 15 March 2018). De municipality dey de western part of Ashanti Region insyd wey e get Tepa as ein capital town.[1]

Ahafo Ano North Municipal District be mostly base for rainforests.

About 85% of de working population be farmers wey e be one of de most important cocoa growing districts for Ghana.

De municipal one major health facility per, de District Hospital for Tepa, den four smaller health service stations. Der be little proper sanitation.
