Anita Beryl (born 11 January 1986) be Ugandan fashion designer, couturier den entrepreneur.[1] She be de creative director of Beryl Qouture, a Ugandan fashion house. De Ugandan magazine, Satisfashion Uganda, name Beryl one of "The 40 Movers and Shakers of 2016", insyd December 2016.[2]
Early life den education
[edit | edit source]Na Rev. den Mrs. Ahabwe of Bushenyi district born Anita, wey she be de first-born of six kiddies dem born to de couple.[3] She attend Bweranyangyi Girls for O den A-level wey she lef insyd 2005. She later join Uganda Christian University, Mukono, for a Bachelor of Arts in Education, wey she graduate insyd 2009. She attain ein first fashion training for Uber Glam, insyd Johannesburg, South Africa, before she join, French Fashion University, ESMOD.[4]
Career
[edit | edit source]Insyd 2011, she found Beryl Quoture By Anita Beryl, as a Haute Qouture wey she be ready to wear clothing den accessory franchise give all genders.[5] Na dem invite ein label make she participate insyd local, regional den international fashion shows wey dey include "Accra Fashion Week", insyd Ghana den "Swahili Fashion Week" insyd Tanzania, insyd 2016 alone.[2] Insyd 2017, na dem invite am make she showcase ein design for de World Fashion Week 2017, insyd Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.[3] Ein expanding client base dey include clients insyd Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, de United Kingdom den oda countries.[2][3][6] Na she sanso showcase ein design for fashion shows insyd Nigeria, Addis Ababa, Barcelona den Mombasa.[7]
