Arba Minch University (Amharic: አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ) be residential national university insyd Arba Minch, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region, Ethiopia. History

De nucleus of de university get ein origins insyd de Arba Minch Water Technology Institute (dem establish am insyd September 1986). Insyd 1993, na dem transfer de institute from de Water Resource Commission to de Ministry of Education.

For 20 September 2004, dem establish Arba Minch University by government proclamation (Council of Ministers 111/2004).[1] De University originally consist of Water Technology Institute, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Science den Humanities, den Faculty of business den Economics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering den Faculty of Civil Engineering den School of Graduate Studies.

De university dey run 74 undergraduate programs, 115 graduate programs, den 27 PhD programs. AMU dey consist of three institutes, six colleges, den four schools wich dey situate across de university ein six campuses: Main Campus, Abaya Campus, Chamo Campus, Kulfo Campus, den Nech Sar Campus, den Sawla Campus.[2]
