Baruti Kandolo Lilela, dem better know am by ein pen name Barly Baruti (born December 9, 1959, insyd Kisangani, insyd wat na ebe de Congo-Léopoldville[1]), be a Congolese (DRC) cartoonist. Biography

Der, insyd 1982, he wrep den draw ein first published comic, Le Temps d'agir (Time to Act), for environmental issues. Insyd 1984, he win a comics competition, na dem invite am make he study comics writing insyd Angoulême (France), wey insyd 1987 he work for a few months for de Studios Hergé insyd Brussels. He return to Congo, wer he publish chaw albums, wey he move go Belgium insyd 1992. Insyd 1994, de Cultural Centre insyd Kisangani publish ein album Objectif Terre! (Objective: Earth!), an environmental manifesto. Insyd de late 1990s, he co-produce Eva K, a trilogy of comics albums, plus Frank Giroud, follow by Mandrill, a series of seven albums.[3][4] For dese works, Baruti "replaced his semi-humorous clear line style with a more realistic one".[5]
