Birim Central Municipal District be one of de thirty-three districts wey dey Eastern Region for Ghana insyd.[1] Dem originally create am as sam ordinary district assembly for 1988 insyd as na ebe first Birim South District, wey dem create am from de former Birim District Council, till dem split off de western part of de district wey dem create de Birim South District, wey Akim Swedru be ein capital town; dat be say dem rename de remaining part as as Birim Central Municipal District for 29 February 2008 insyd, wey Akim Oda be ein capital town, wey dem elevate am go municipal district assembly status for dat same year. However for 15 March 2018 insyd, dem split off de southeast part of de district wey ecam turn Asene-Manso-Akroso District; dat be say dem retain de remaining part as Birim Central Municipal District. De municipality dey de southwest part of Eastern Region wey Akim Oda be ein capital town.

Birim Central Municipal District dey de southwestern corner of de Eastern Region for Ghana insyd. If you go de north ebe Birim North den Kwaebibirem Districts wey if you go de west, ebe de Adansi South District wey dey Ashanti den de Assin North District. Birim Central Municipal district ein southern neighbours be Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa den Agona West Municipal Districts wey dey Central Region insyd. De West Akim Municipal District dey lies for de east of Birim Central Municipal District.[1]

De Big Tree be one of de major attractions wey dey Birim Central Municipal District insyd. Dem dey believe say ebe de biggest for West Africa insyd wey ein measurement be 12 metres for circumference insyd den 66.5 metres for height insyd. De tree dey de Esen Epan Forest Reserve, one of 9 forest reserves wey dey de Birim Central Municipal District.[2]
