Bush burning be de practice wey dem de set fire for vegetation anaa bush, wey be intentionally anaa accidentally, for Nigeria. E be common thing during de dry season wen de grasses den weeds dey dry den flammable. Bush burning be common for agricultural things, e fi be for clearing land for cultivation, controlling pests, den make dem dey enhance soil fertility.[1] E sanso dey for hunting, as sam hunters dey use fire make dem drive out animals from dema hiding places. Buh de bush burning get chaw negative effects for de environment top, health, den economy.[2] E dey cause air pollution, soil degradation, loss of biodiversity, greenhouse gas emissions, damage to infrastructure den livelihoods, wey e dey increase vulnerability for climate change top.[2]
