[edit | edit source]He start dey work as an art restorer give de Abomey Museum insyd 1987, wen na dem hire am make he replicate de original bas-reliefs wey dey tell chaw of Dahomey ein legends den stories while dem dey celebrate de individual kings for de new King Glelé royal palace façade, among de Royal Palaces of Abomey reconstruct by de government of Benin.
Tokoudagba continue de tradition of bas-relief though de use of cement den commercially available synthetic paint, while he sanso dey produce works for canvas, frescoes den monumental sculptures top. Insyd 1989, Cyprien lef Benin for de first time make he exhibit for “Magiciens de la Terre” insyd Paris, France.
