Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki (EBSU) dem found am insyd 1999 wey dey Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Nigeria.[1] De varsity ein medical faculty dem establish insyd 1991 as ESUT's Faculty of Health Sciences.[2] Dem develop chaw of ein facilities for response to Guinea worm pandemic; de Abakaliki Specialist Hospital, dem create am for dis purpose, wey na dem remodel am make e cam turn Ebonyi State University ein primary teaching hospital. Na dem subsequently grant accreditation by de Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) for de training of medical students den resident doctors. Since e cam turn part of Ebonyi State University, de medical school receive considerable wey dey fund from de Ebonyi government.[3]

De campus sanso dey consist of de Faculty of Management Sciences; Faculty of Social Science; Faculty of Arts den Humanities den Faculty of Natural Science.
