Biography
[edit | edit source]Dem born Ayisi for 22nd July, 1962 insyd Kumba, Cameroon.[1] She earn a certificate insyd higher education insyd 1997 from de School of Education at de University of Sunderland. Insyd 1989 she earn a BA from de University of Yaoundé insyd Cameroon. Insyd 1989 she earn a MA insyd theatre den media production from de University of Hull den, insyd 1992, she earn an MA insyd film production from de Northern School of Film den Television at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Since 2000 she dey teach film at de University of South Wales.[2][3] Ayisi found de production company Iris Films insyd 2005.
Insyd 2005, she release Sisters in Law wich go on make e win multiple awards wey dey include de Prix Art et Essai award at de Cannes Film Festival den a Peabody.[4][5][6][7] De film receive positive reviews.[8][9][10][11]
Insyd 2007, she meet Queen Elizabeth II for ein work ein association plus Commonwealth countries.[12] Insyd 2008, she win de UK Film Council Breakthrough Brits Award for Film Talent insyd 2008.[6][12]
