Georges Adéagbo (born 1942) be a Beninese sculptor dem know for ein work plus found objects.

A native of Cotonou, Adéagbo study law insyd Abidjan[1] before he move go France make he continue ein studies insyd political science. He return to Benin insyd 1971 upon de death of ein poppie, wey he begin dey create installations den environments for isolation from family den society.[2] By de early 1990s, he begin dey receive recognition after he be accidentally discovered by a French curator wey stumble upon Adeagbo ein courtyard. Eventually, years of work culminate insyd de reception of de Prize of Honor[3] for de Venice Biennale insyd 1999, for de "A Story of a Lion" installation project. Adéagbo dey gather de material for ein art wer ever he travel. Today, he primarily dey reside insyd Hamburg, Germany[4] wey he often dey work insyd ein hometown of Cotonou.
