Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) be trade union wey dey represent school den college dema teachers for Ghana insyd. Dem dey promote den protect de rights plus interests give kiddis,as well as place de association ein services give individuals disposal, public bodies den organizations wey dey pursuit education. Dem found de union for 14th July 1962 insyd, for de teachers dema initiative, chaw member wey dey Ghana union of Teachers wey no wan link plus de Ghana trade Union Congress (TUC). Ghana ein government permit de information give de condition say dem go register am as voluntary association but no be trade union. As dem form am, na de union get 24,384 members for insyd.[1]

Na de union dey grow steadily wey by 2012 e get 194,000 members wey ecome fall slightly go 178,000 for 2018 insyd.[2][3]

De association executive dema function dey include exercising general control over de management plus administration so sey dem go ensure implementation of approved policies, programmes den projects, wey dey approve recommendations den reports give de National officers, dey take action so sey dem go ensure effective participation.
