George Kwabena Adu (dem born am 17 October 1981) for Buabuashie wey dey Greater Accra Region be Ghanaian musician, guitarist, den draftsman wey be accomplished. Ein name Kwabena Kwabena dey rep de two jobs wey he dey inners presently, first Kwabena, be de draftsman, den Kwabena, be de contemporary highlife musician.[1] He emerge after he feature for Kontihene ein 2004 hit, Esi wey he san feature Kontihene for ein own debut hit, Aso.[2]
Ein early life
[edit | edit source]Kwabena attend Datus Complex for Bubuashie insyd, Green Hill School for Achimota insyd, den Aggrey Junior Secondary School. He be old student for St. Peters Secondary School for Nkwatia insyd wey he be proud PERSCOBA. He start dey play de guitar for church de time he dey 14yrs wey na he lead de church choir.[3] He start dey hang around Hush Hush studios wey he dey feature for chaw songs. Dem introduce am to Hammer of de Last 2.[4]
Ein career
[edit | edit source]Ein break thru come for 2004 insyd wen he record ein debut album ASO. Dem use three of de songs for Sparrow Productions dema The Perfect Picture soundtrack. Sum of ein hits dey include Ka kyere me, Trodom, Adea waye me, Fakye me, den Me ne woa. For 2007 insyd, he release ein second album, Dabi.[5] Kwabena Kwabena get strong passion give philanthropic work wey he dey believe for ein Ghanaian environment. Dis passion nu wey spur am make he set up de KwabenaKwabena Save A Life Foundation.[6][7][8] Kwabena go on wey he achieve chaw local den international awards wey sum dey include de best vocal performance den de best songwriter.[6]
Ein third album, Daakye, come out for 2013 insyd wey he sanso get hit songs like Bue Kwan,[9] Adult Music,[10] Bye Bye, etc.
