Machérie Ekwa Bahango (born 1993) be a filmmaker wey komot de Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1] Na ein first feature film Maki’la premier for de Berlinale 2018.[2] Na ein movie Sema advocate give women's rights den thematise de issue of sexual violence.[3] E win an award as "Best International Film" for de DC Independent Film Festival 2020 insyd Washington.[4]

Insyd 2016 na she be a screenwriter give de French language TV series Ndakisa.[8] Produce by de NGO Search for Common Ground, na dem air Ndakisa for Congolese national television top.[9]

Insyd 2017 na she translate give Alain Gomis ein script give ein 2017 film Félicité into ein native language Lingala .[2]

Insyd 2017 na dem sanso invite am to de Cannes Film Festival for a round table under de helm of de OIF den de Institut Français. For de end of 2017 she receive invitations from de Berlin International Film Festival for de Berlinale Talents.[10]

Na ein first feature film Mak’ila be about an orphan dem force make she fend for einself for de streets of Kinshasa. Na ebe stall insyd post-production secof lack of funds til Alain Modot, of de International Distribution of Films and Fiction from Africa (DIFFA), gain backing from Orange Studio insyd Paris.[2] Mak’ila win am de Golden Screen award for de 2018 Ecrans Noirs film festival.[11]
