Maxwell Konadu (dem born am 4 December 1972) be football coach den a retired Ghana international football player. He currently be de coach of Black Leopards. Before ein current post, na he formerly be de manager of Glo Premier League club Asante Kotoko.[1] Na Konadu be a member of de Men's National Team wey win de bronze medal at de 1992 Summer Olympics insyd Barcelona, Spain. He sanso win gold as assistant coach of Ghana ein Men's Olympic Team at de All-Africa Games insyd Maputo, Mozambique insyd 2011.[2]

Playing career

Konadu begin ein youth career plus Nkoranza Republic den Upper West Republic insyd Ghana.[3] He begin ein professional career plus de Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC, plus whom he win de Ghana Premier League for ein debut season insyd.[4]

After brief spells he play insyd Tunisia den Germany,[5] he return to Asante Kotoko insyd January 1996, before he move to U.D. Leiria of de Portuguese second division insyd July of de year wey dey follow. He go play give Leiria insyd de Portuguese Liga during de 1998–99 season, wey he then move go rival buh relegated lower division club S.C. Beira-Mar, den A.C. Marinhense.

He then get brief spell dey play insyd Turkey, before he return to play give Ghanaian syd King Faisal Babes insyd 2003.[6]

Coaching career

Dey follow ein playing career, Konadu cam turn a coach. First he intern at Ghana ein Feyenoord Academy before he take on de assistant coach position of Red Bull Academy ein U-17 team insyd Sogakope.[7]

After he participate insyd de 31st den 32nd International DFB (German Football Association) coaching courses insyd Hennef, Germany, he receive ein International DFB Coaching Certificates "B" den "A" insyd 2008 den 2009 respectively.[8] By then, he move come Ghana Premier League club All Stars F.C., wey he lead dem during dema 2009–10 den 2010–11 seasons.[9]

Insyd July 2011, dem appoint Konadu am as assistant coach of Asante Kotoko,[10] ebe de club wey he first get ein fame as a prolific goal scorer. He later sign as dema head coach dey follow ein return from de All-Africa Games insyd Maputo, Mozambique, dey follow de sacking of Serbian coach Bogdan Korak. For 3 May 2012, dem appoint Konadu as de assistant coach for de Ghana national football team by de GFA (Ghana Football Association), wey he succeed James Kwesi Appiah.[11] For 5 June 2012, Konadu resign as manager of Glo Premier League club Asante Kotoko after he guide de club to dema 22nd league title wey dem secure qualification for de 2013 CAF Champions League. Na dem replace Konadu as manager of Asante Kotoko by, Mas-ud Didi Dramani. For 10 July 2012, dem appoint Konadu as de manager of de Ghana national under-20 football team, wey he dey come succeed Orlando Wellington den insyd January 2013, dem appoint Konadu as de manager for de Ghana national under-23 football team.[12]

Dem appoint am as caretaker manager for de men ein senior national team, for de second time, insyd March 2017.[13] He san serve as coach give de ''local Black Stars'' - Ghana A' national football team.[14][15][16]
