Before he go enter politics, na he bi de General Manager for Sarfpok Company Limited. During demma 2020 NPP parliamentary primaries, Banor go contest for de Asutifi North seat against Hon. Benhazin Joseph Dahan, Stephen Kwaku Manu Akuoko, den William Frimpong-Bonsu den won plus 189 votes wey rep 40.30%.[4][5] During demma 2020 Ghanaian general election, Banor contested plus Ebenezer Kwaku Addo wey rep NDC, den Kofi Annan wey rep GUM. He polled 18505 votes wey rep 52.62% for de total valid votes cast against Addo's 16546 votes den Anane's 116 votes, rep 47.05% den 0.33% of de total valid votes cast respectively.[6]
