Osei-Mensah bi a member of de New Patriotic Party. He come make member of parliament from January 2005 wey he emerge winner insyd de General Election insyd December 2004. He run for ein second den third term wey he san win. Na he bi MP for Bosomtwe constituency. Dem vote give am as de member of parliament for ein constituency for de fourth, fifth den sixth parliaments for de fourth Republic of Ghana. Insyd February 2020, after ein party come back into office, President Nana Akuffo-Addo appoint am as de Ashanti regional minister.
