St. Augustine’s College be all-male boarding academic institution insyd Cape Coast, Ghana.[1] As de first catholic school wey dem establish insyd Ghana, dem start de school at Amissano, a village wey dey near Elmina, insyd 1930. De Roman Catholic institution establish say dem go serve as a training college den seminary. Dem name de school after St. Augustine of Hippo (354 – 430 AD). De motto for de college be Omnia Vincit Labor, wey dey mean "Perseverance conquers All". De school get a total of 12 houses.[2]

On 6 August 1933, de Roman Catholic Church den de Bishop of Cape Coast Vicariate Monsignor W. T. Porter[3][4] see say dem dey need a separate Roman Catholic school wey dem see say Cape Coast go be de most suitable location.[5] Na dem lay a commemorative foundation stone de late 1935 for de present site. Fr. Maurice B. Kelly, de Dean of de Training College at Amissano[6] wey now St. Teresa’s Seminary, Amisano, cam turn de first Head Dean anaa Headmaster.[7]

Due to de historical association den dema common catholic antecedents, dem geta tendency for Holy Child High School, Ghana old students (HOPSA) den St. Augustine’s old students (APSUnians) wey dem dey marry. De church believe say marriage between old students of de two schools go perpetuate de Catholic traditions.[11][12][13][14]

St. Augustine's College be two time winners for de National Science and Mathematics Quiz. Winners insyd 2007 den 2019.
