De University of Port Harcourt dey locate insyd Aluu den Choba insyd Port Harcourt, Rivers State, edey locate insyd South-South (Niger-Delta) region of Nigeria. Na dem establish am insyd 1975[1] as University College, Port Harcourt wey na dem give am varsity status insyd 1977.[2] Dem rank de University of Port Harcourt de sixth insyd Africa den de first insyd Nigeria by Times Higher Education insyd 2015.[3] Insyd July 2021, na dem appoint Prof. George Owunari substantive Vice-Chancellor of de varsity.[4]
