History

Insyd April 1998, Abdou Mhoumadi, then Minister of Education, sign de project for de University of the Comoros.Dem establish am insyd 2003 by de initiative of Presido Azali Assoumani, de university dey accommodate large majority of high school graduates from de Comoros wey na previously dem dey go abroad make dem continue dema higher education. Na de first presido of de university be Damir Ben Ali.

Insyd 2006, students from de Faculty of Law for de University of the Comoros found de Ngoshawo youth association.

De University of the Comoros dey comprise four faculties, one institute, den one school, wey dey locate across four sites:

• Imam Chafiou Faculty (Arabic Literature den Islamic Sciences)
