She start ein career as young economist plus de World Bank (WB) insyd 1989.[5] As Presido of de East Asia Pacific Region, na Kwakwa be de direct manager of Rodrigo Chaves wey na dem ultimately force am make he resign from WB for late 2019 insyd after multiple complaints of sexual harassment den assault. Internal investigations lead make dem recall am to Washington den demotion. Na Chaves be WB Country Director give Indonesia 2013-19 from wich chaw complaints arise. Kwakwa no take any action. Chaves later cam turn de Finance Minister give Costa Rica.[6][7]
