Dem establish de museum for 2000 insyd, so dem go mark de centenary of de Yaa Asantewaa War. Ein aim be say ego recreate sam typical Asante royal residence from ca. 1900.[1][1]

For October 2009 insyd, local leaders show interest say dem go refurbish de museum,[4] wey for 2016 insyd, UNICEF agree say ego contribute US$10 million give de reconstruction. Dem go construct de new facility for 14-acre plot of land top.[5]
