Biography

De daughter of Hassen Bouabdellah, she be film director den author, den Malika Dorbani, former head of de National Museum of Fine Arts of Algiers, dem born am insyd Moscow wey she grow up insyd Algiers. Bouabdellah move go France insyd 1993 during de Algerian Civil War. She study for de Ecole nationale supérieure d'arts de Cergy-Pontoise, wey she graduate insyd 2002.[2]

Ein work dey explore de blending of cultures den globalization, religion, language, den intimacy as well as de female condition. She dey incorporate sculpture, photography, video den drawing, den she often dey contrast traditional trappings of religion, e.g., prayer rugs, plus symbols of modernity.[3]
