Adams Apples be Ghanaian film series, wey dey star Yvonne Okoro, Joselyn Dumas, John Dumelo, Naa Ashorkor Mensa-Doku, Anima Misa Amoah, Adjetey Anang, Helene Asante, SoulKnight Jazz, Jasmine Baroudi, Vincent McCauley, Roselyn Ngissah, Fred Kanebi.[1] De series dey consist of ten drama feature films, wey we know am as "chapters", ebe Ken Attoh wey produce wey Shirley Frimpong-Manso cam direct am.[2]
De film series dey follow de life of Adams' family, wey consist of Doris Adams (Anima Misa Amoah), widow of ex-diplomat, den ein three daughters; Baaba (Okoro), Jennifer (Dumas) den Kuukua (Mensah-Doku). De film show how dem handle dema complicated family, love lives, individual secrets, lies den regrets. Dem sanso create spin-off TV drama series, plus de same title, wey premiere for February 2013, wey now dey show for DStv ein Africa Magic. De TV series dey happen one year after de tenth chapter of de film series.[3][4]

De first part of de series premiere on 21 April 2011, den de last Chapter come out on 25 May 2012.[8][9] Na dem release complete DVD set, wey dey contain all ten films for de series insyd December 2012.[10] Adams Apples dey available for streaming for Demand Africa Archived 2019-08-30 for de Wayback Machine.
Critical reception

Nollywood Reinvented, dem review de last part of de film, and dem praise everything about am, and dem talk say: "Shirley do well by making dis movie 'more than a conqueror'. De good thing about Adams Apples movies be say dem touch on many topics (even if dem no fully talk about am). Dem talk about how to love when you and de person get age difference... how to handle love wey de compete... how to know when you dey love or just dey lust... how to look for adventure and still dey realistic... how to deal with mistakes wey you do before... And most importantly, how to know say family important and trust God to make things right.[11] Victor Olatoye of Nollywood Critics, for him review of chapter 1 to 3 of de film, praise how dem develop de characters, give am 3.5 out of 4 stars, and conclude say: "If you dey look for good movie wey go make you feel happy, smart, sexy, funny, excited, and full of wahala, den Adams Apples be de one. Go ahead, take am, enjoy am, but know say trouble dey ahead".[12] Circumspecte, for dem overview of de film series, talk say: "Me go use one word to describe Shirley Frimpong Manso's latest film, Adams Apples - delightful.
