Bui Dam be 400-megawatt (540,000 hp) hydroelectric project wey edey Ghana. Dem build am for de Black River top wey dey Bui Gorge, edey insyd southern end of Bui National Park. Ebe government of Ghana den Sino Hydro (Chinese construction company) wey dem collabo den do am. Dem start dey build am for December 2009 insyd. Ebe 3 May 2013[1] wey dem commission am den do inauguration for December for de same year insyd.[2]
Bui be de second bola hydroelectric dey generate plant for de country insyd, ebe de Akosombo Dam wey bola pass am. De reservoir don flood like 20% of de Bui National Park wey dey worry dem black hippopotamus den bunch wildlife. Albert Ernest Kitson be British-Australian geologist den naturalist wey he see dat ebe possible to make de Bui hydroelectric dam as he come Ghana insyd 1925. As dem build de Akosombo Dam wey dem plan say dey go build de Bui dam as 1960s. Akosombo Dam bola pass all oda dam insyd Ghana, edey de downstream for de Volta River top.
