Damongo be town den de capital of West Gonja Municipal, municipal wey dey de Savannah Region of Northern Ghana.[1][2][3][4] For 12 February 2019, na dem declare Damongo de capital of de newly created Savannah Region.[5] De languages dem dey speak insyd Damongo dey include Gonja, Vagla, Hanga, Dagaare, Waale, Frafra, Kasim, Twi, Ewe, den Hausa.[6]

Aside from de chaw basic schools, Damongo get three(3) senior high schools: de Damongo Senior High School, Ndewura Jakpa Secondary Technical High School, den St Annes Girls Senior High School.[7][8] Dere sanso be de Damongo Agricultural College den de Damongo Health Assistant School.
