Dormaa Central Municipal be one of de twelve districts for Bono Region wey dey Ghana.[1][2] Originally na ebe part of de den bola Dormaa District wey for 10 March 1989; de eastern part for de municipal dem split am off go create Dormaa East District for 1 November 2007 (effectively 29 February 2008); thus dem retain de part wey remain as Dormaa District.[3] However, for 28 June 2012, de southwest part for de district wey dem split am off go create Dormaa West District; while de part wey remain, dem elevate am go municipal assembly status for dat same year wey e cam turn Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly. De municipality dey for de southwest part for Bono Region wey Dormaa Ahenkro be ein capital town.[4][5]
