Dormaa East District be one of de twelve districts for Bono Region wey dey Ghana.[1][2] Originally na ebe part of de den bola Dormaa District for 10 March 1989; until ein eastern part for de district wey dem split am off go create Dormaa East District for 29 February 2008; thus dem retain de part wey remain as Dormaa District (wey later dem elevate am go municipal district assembly status wey dem rename am as Dormaa Central Municipal District for 28 June 2012).[3] De district assembly dey for de western part of de Bono Region wey Wamfie be ein capital town.[4]
