De Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe alias National Technical Teachers College be federal government higher education institution wey dey Gombe, Gombe State, Nigeria. Dem establish de College Library for 1977 plus sam collection of 500 volume of books. Estart for sam temporary site wey dey de former Gombe Crafts School, under de leadership of sam Principal, wey estart dey move go ein permanent site for 1989 insyd wey e finally relocate go de permanent site for 1996 insyd.[5][6] Presently, de College library get main library den sam virtual library. De library ein primary goals be say ego enhance teaching den learning by say ego develop den organize de information resources wey be available for der.[7] De library currently get more than 40 thousand volumes of textbooks den 45 staff strength wey dey manage de library. De current college librarian be Yusuf Shehu Aliyu.[7]

De college library get four sections for effective information services give de college students, researchers, den lecturers wey be:

  • Administration Section: dis be de college librarian division wey dey head all de libraries by say ego oversee demma affairs den report give de provost. De office be responsible give planning, managing, directing, monitoring den supervising all de activities of de library system.
  • Technical Services Section: dis be de collection development den processing of de information resources such as acquisition, cataloging, classification den Reprographic/Bindery services den make am ready available give users for de library insyd.
  • Reader's Service Section: for dis section insyd, users like students den staff dey make use of available information resources such as consultation of books, borrowing den returning of books, documentation of students projects wey dis section sana dey provide reserve services.
  • Virtual library Section: dis section dey contain online den offline information resources. online den offline databases all be available for dis section insyd, since all information services be automated say ego save de tym of de users plus easy accessibility. Dem dey use de computers facilities give electronic examination, workshops, college library dey gbele every Monday go Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am go 12:00 Noon wey for vacation insyd, every Monday go Friday from 8:00am go 4:00pm.
