Sam Joseph Ntiro (20 April 1923 – 1 January 1993) na he be artist den de first East African High Commissioner to de Court of Saint James insyd London from de then republic of Tanganyika Territory to de United Kingdom.[1] He serve from independence insyd 1961 til 1964. Sam Joseph Ntiro get ein tertiary education at Makerere College of de University of East Africa, wey na then ebe affiliated to de University of London, wer he study Art den Education. He do postgraduate work for de Slade College of Fine Art, University of London.

Career

Na he teach at Makerere College (now Makerere University), Kyambogo Technical Institute (now Kyambogo University) den de University of Dar es Salaam, wer na he help establish de Department of Music, Arts and Culture.[2] Insyd Dar es Salaam na he be Resident Artist, Senior Lecturer wey na for ein retirement associate professor. He do research insyd de United States of America, insyd de 1970s at Dillard & Xavier Universities insyd New Orleans, Louisiana den insyd de 1980s at de University of Wisconsin at Madison insyd both areas of Fine Art den African Studies. He sanso serve as an external examiner for Fine Art, Art History den sometimes History, Geography insyd Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, de United Kingdom, de US, Canada, Ghana den Nigeria.
