De University of Luanda (UniLuanda; Portuguese: Universidade de Luanda)[1] be Angolan public university base insyd de city of Luanda.[2]

De university emerge from de merger of de Higher Institute for Information and Communication Technologies den de Higher Institute of Management, Logistics and Transport, den from de transformation of de faculties of arts den social service. Before de creation of UniLuanda, na dem be autonomous higher education institutions spread across de province of Luanda.[3]

De university ein base territory be de Luanda Province.[4]

History

UniLuanda ein component bodies dem emerge from decree-law 7/09, of 12 May 2009, approve by de Council of Ministers, wich dem create de Higher Institute for Information and Communication Technologies (ISUTIC) den de Higher Institute of Social Service (ISSS).[5] De same decree sanso create de Instituto Superior de Artes (ISArt), buh e cam into operation insyd 2013 per.[6]

Insyd 2016, presidential order 38/16, of 24 March 2016, create de Higher Institute of Management, Logistics den Transport (IPGEST).

By presidential decree 285, of 29 October 2020 — wich dey reorganize de Network of Public Higher Education Institutions of Angola (RIPES) — na dem integrate dese institutions into de newly formed University of Luanda (UniLuanda). De ISUTIC den de IPGEST remain as institutes, while na dem constitute de Faculty of Social Service den de Faculty of Arts were constituted.[7]
