University of Medical Sciences, Ondo (UNIMED) be university of medical sciences wey dey Ondo City, Nigeria, wey Ondo State Government dey own am wey dem establish for 2015 insyd. Ebe de third specialized medical university wey dey Africa den Nigeria ein first specialized medical university wey National Universities Commission accredit am.[1]

De current Vice Chancellor of de University of Medical Sciences Ondo be Professor Adesegun Fatusi[2] FAS, sam professor of public health den community medicine.[3] De pioneer vice chancellor of de university be Professor Friday Okonofua, sam Nigerian professor of gynecology den de founder of Women Health den Action Research Centre, sam non-profit den charitable organization wey demma headquarters dey Benin City, wey dey focus for promoting female reproductive research top.[4]

Na de establishment of de university be result of de bill wey Olusegun Mimiko, de executive governor of Ondo State sign go law insyd for 2014, so say dem go establish sam state university of medical sciences. Ondo State House of Assembly propose bill under Schedule 1, Section 5(2), den Article 39(1) of Ondo State Laws. De university appoint ein first substantive Chancellor, Professor Friday Okonofua, for March 11, 2015, following de approval of de university by de National University Commission, NUC.[5] De current Vice-chancellor of de university be Professor Adesegun Fatusi.[6]
