De University of Zululand be contact-only university, plus 8,751 students dem enrol insyd 2007. Dis total include 8,738 full-time students den 13 part-time students. Of de total, na 8,583 be South African citizens, while na 75 be from oda SADC countries den 93 students from non-SADC countries. Na enrollment be 17,360 students for de academic year of 2018.[1]

Indoor sports dey include aerobics, basketball, bodybuilding, boxing, chess, dance, judo, karate, pool, squash, den table tennis.
Outdoor sports dey include athletics, cricket, hiking, hockey, netball, rowing, rugby, soccer (men den women), softball, swimming, tennis, den volleyball.
