Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (born 20 October 1964) be a Ghanaian lawyer, women's rights activist, den a politician wey na she be actively involved insyd politics den public service. Ursula dey hail from Akim Oda insyd de Eastern Region of Ghana.[3] She attend Labone Senior High School wey she proceed to Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School for sixth form education. She continue to de University of Ghana den de Ghana School Of Law, wer she obtain an LLB. Na dem call am to de bar insyd 1990.[7] She obtain a master's degree insyd Conflict, Peace and Security from de Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.[7][8][9] She sanso get a certificate insyd Government Integrity from de International Law Institute. She sanso dey hold a Project Management and Planning Certificate from GIMPA.[10]

Insyd 2015, she chop de NPP parliamentary primaries give de Ablekuma West Constituency.[14] She retain ein parliamentary seat for de 2016 Ghanaian general elections by winning 34,376 votes out of de 60,558 valid votes cast wey dey make 56.96%.[3][15] Dem put she den ein oda female MPs for personal attacks after na dispute dey for chaw places take give female members of parliament. She talk say she wan shun politics for de future,[16] but ein next year she cam turn de Minister of Communications.[17][18]

For 2017 insyd, dem appoint am as de Minister wey she dey go head de Ministry for Communications by President Akufo-Addo.[19][20]

For December 2020 insyd, she go contest for re-election for de member of parliament for de 2020 Ghanaian general election as NPP demma parliamentary candidate. She retain ein seat after polling 37,363 out of 69,353 votes for de Ablekuma West Constituency. Ein closest competitor be Rev. Kweku Addo wey dey National Democratic Congress (NDC) pull 30,733 votes, whilst de oda candidates wey contest from de oda parties say, GUM, LPG den PNC pull 359, 330 den 65 respectively.[21][22][23][24]
