For March 2021 insyd, dem open de gates secof some abrupt rise of 1.9 feet of water ova 24 hour period. Dis increase de water level from 46.2 feet go 48.1 feet wey na ebe 1.1 feet above de safe operating level wey be 47 feet. Na dis be necessary so say ego guard against de risk say de dam go collapse.[7]

For October 2022 insyd, dem spill de dam twice. Na dis bi secof rains. De water level as dem gbele de gates of de dam for de beginning of de month be 49.5 feet wey na ebe 47.9 feet as dem close am.[8][9]
