Akua Kuenyehia (dem born am 1947) be Ghanaian academic den lawyer wey serve as judge give de International Criminal Court (ICC) from 2003 go 2015. She san serve as First Vice-president give de Court.[1] Na she be one of de three female African judges for ICC.

Kuenyehia represent Ghana for de United Nations' Convention for Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) committee for 2003 insyd wey she work hard contribute to ein reputation den influence.

Kuenyehia be Honorary Fellow of Somerville College.[2]

She be member of de Crimes Against Humanity Initiative Advisory Council, project of de Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute for Washington University School of Law wey dey St. Louis wey dem dey establish de world ein first treaty for de prevention den punishment of crimes against humanity.

Kuenyehia get ein education for Achimota School, University of Ghana den Somerville College wey dey Oxford. She spend most of ein professional career teaching for de University of Ghana, as Dean of Law, den as visiting professor for oda institutions wey dey include Leiden University den Temple University.[3] She be de President give Mountcrest University College wey dey Ghana.[4] Dem name de Law Faculty Building wey dey University of Ghana, Legon, in honour of Presido John Atta Mills den Professor Kuenyehia.[5]

For March 2009 insyd, judges choose Kuenyehia as well as Anita Ušacka of Latvia for appeals positions.[6] Three months later, na both of dem for step down from sam appeal wey dey case of Germain Katanga of de Democratic Republic of Congo, for trial for war crimes den crimes against humanity, secof na dem previously issue ein arrest warrant.[6]
