Desmond De-Graft win de parliamentary seat for de Gomoa East Constituency during de 2020 Ghanaian general elections on de ticket give de National Democratic Congress plus 36,637 votes wey edey make 49.46% for de total votes cast go join de Eighth (8th) Parliament for de Fourth Republic of Ghana against Kojo Asemanyi of de New Patriotic Party who get 135,873 votes wey edey make 48.42% of de total votes cast, Samuel Kofi Essel of GUM wey get 1,397 votes wey edey make 1.89% of de total votes cast den Emmanuel Otchere of UPP who san gey 173 votes wey edey make 0.23% of de total votes cast.[5][11][12][13]
