Gladys Asmah (16 October 1939 - 24 June 2014) na she be Ghanaian politician den entrepreneur. Na she be former Minister of Fisheries den Member of Parliament give de Takoradi Constituency.[1][2][3] Na she sanso be de former Minister for Women's Affairs under de former Presido Kufuor ein administration.[4]

She attend Middlesex University, dem know am formerly as Hendon College of Technology, den de Leeds College of Education and Home Economics wey she qualify as Member of de Institutional Management Association of London.[5]
Politics
[edit | edit source]Na she be member of de New Patriotic Party.[6] She cam turn member of parliament for Takoradi from 7 January 1997 cam 6 January 2009, Minister of Women and Children Affairs between 2001 den 2005 den Minister of Fisheries from 2005 go 2009.[7][8][9] Na Asmah be member of de 2nd, 3rd, 4th den 5th parliament of de 4th Republic of Ghana.
Death
[edit | edit source]Gladys Asmah die for 24 June 2014,[7] for de Korlu-Bu Teaching Hospital for Accra insyd wer na dem hospitalize am for two weeks. Dem bury am for Takoradi insyd after ein funeral for 1 November 2014.[6][10]
