Guy Kabeya Muya (born 1970) be a filmmaker wey komot de Democratic Republic of the Congo. Na he be co-director plus Monique Mbeka Phoba of de 2007 documentary Entre la coupe et l'élection (Between the cup and the election).[1]

E dey provide a strong moral message about de evils of child abuse.[3] Kabeya Muya establish de production company Kabola Films wich dey make cinematographic animations insyd de center of Kinshasa. As part of a workshop lead by Thierry De Mey of Charleroi Danses he direct de 2007 documentary Cailloux (Pebbles) for informal economic enterprise insyd Kinshasa.[1]

Kabeya Muya work plus veteran documentary director Monique Mbeka Phoba for a project wer a group of young theater students insyd Kinshasa learn how dem go make a film. Kabeya Muya provide de hands-on training while Mbeka Phoba provide guidance via de internet. Dis lead to de 2007 documentary Entre la coupe et l'élection (Between the cup and the election) about de first soccer team from Sub-Saharan Africa make dem participate insyd a FIFA World Cup, insyd 1974, he den Mbeka Phoba co-produce am.[4] Na de team be The Leopards, de national team of de Democratic Republic of the Congo.[5] Na de team be defeated insyd three consecutive matches wer na dem no score goals, wey dem steal dema pay by corrupt officials wey na dem for return home to face an angry dictator.[2]
