She later move plus ein family to Scarsdale, New York, buh she vacation insyd Ghana every year.[2]
While na she attend Scarsdale Middle School, na dem hear a classmate reportedly dey suggest blowing up Africa so say he go solve de HIV problem.[1]
Amarteifio ein parents move back to Ghana insyd 1997. She earn a bachelor's degree insyd African den Afro-American studies from Brandeis University insyd 2004.[2]
After graduation, she get a job insyd Washington, D.C. as a consultant for African economic development for The Whitaker Group, wey she work give Rosa Whitaker.[3]
Insyd 2006, Amarteifio move go Accra, Ghana, make she work insyd economic development for de African Development Foundation. Shortly after ein move to Africa, she get de idea make she make a show like Sex and the City insyd Accra.
Amarteifio return to de United States make she attend Georgetown University wey she obtain a master's degree insyd corporate communications insyd 2010. For Georgetown, she study under Mike Long, wey encourage ein interest insyd screenwriting.[3]
