Pru East District bi one of de eleven districts for Bono East Region wey dey Ghana.[1] Originally na ebi part of de den bollar Pru District on 18 February 2004, until ein western part for de district wey dem split am off go create Pru West District on 15 March 2008; thus ein remaining part dem rename as Pru East District. De district assembly wey dey for de east central part of Bono East Region wey Yeji bi ebin capital town.[2][3]

De district bi bound for ein north by de East Gonja Municipal District wey dey insyd de Savannah Region. To ein east bi de Sene East den Sene West districts. Ein southern neighbours bi de Nkoranza South Municipal District den de Atebubu-Amantin Municipal District den to ein west bi de Kintampo South District.[4]

De administrative head for de district bi de District Chief Executive who dem appoint am by de President of Ghana after consultation. Dere bi other appoint members. Dem san elect members from each electoral area wey dey for de district. De Member of Parliament for Pru East bi elect for national elections insyd den edey rep de district for de Parliament of Ghana.[5][6]
