Sagnairgu Municipal be one of de sixteen districts way dey Northern Region, Ghana.[1][2][3][4][5] Na ebe part of de Tamale Municipal District for 1988 insyd, which wey dem create am from den tyms West Dagomba District Council. till dem cam split some small northern part of de district make de Sagnarigu District for 24th June 2012 wey dem maintain de Tamale Metropolitan District (dem promote am cam metropolitan district status for August 2004). For 15th March 2028, dem promote am cam municipal district assembly status wey e cam turn Sagnarigu Municipal District. De municipal dey de northwest part for de Northern Region insyd, wey de district capital be Sagnarigu.
