Tano North Municipal District be one of de six districts insyd Ahafo Region, Ghana.[1] Na ebe formerly part of de then-larger Tano District since 1988, til na dem split de western part of de district off make dem create Tano North District insyd December 2004; thus dem rename de part wey remain as Tano South District. Na dem later elevate am go municipal district assembly status insyd April 2018 wey e cam turn Tano North Municipal District. De municipality dey locate insyd de eastern part of Ahafo Region wey e get Duayaw-Nkwanta as ein capital town.
